Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Flight to Kidepo Valley National Park
Your safari begins with a scenic scheduled or charter flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kidepo airstrip (approximately 2 hours), offering breathtaking aerial views of northern Uganda’s remote landscapes and mountain ranges. Upon arrival, your private guide will welcome you and transfer you to your luxury lodge nestled within or near the park boundaries.
After check-in and a delicious lunch, take time to relax and soak in the majestic surroundings expansive plains, acacia-dotted valleys, and the jagged peaks of Mount Morungole. In the late afternoon, embark on a sunset game drive in the Narus Valley, a wildlife-rich area known for its large herds of buffalo, zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest, and frequent sightings of lions, leopards, and elephants. Day 2: Full-Day Game Viewing in Narus Valley & Cultural Visit

The Narus Valley is particularly rewarding, with seasonal water sources attracting a high concentration of wildlife, including eland, giraffes, and reedbuck. Return to the lodge for a leisurely brunch and some downtime enjoy a swim, a massage, or relax with binoculars on your private veranda.
In the afternoon, visit a Karamojong Manyatta (homestead) to experience one of Uganda’s most fascinating cultures. The Karamojong are semi-nomadic pastoralists whose traditions of cattle herding, dance, and storytelling remain vibrant and deeply rooted in their daily lives. Your visit will be guided and respectful, offering insight into their crafts, music, and way of life. Day 3: Kidepo Valley & Kanangorok Hot Springs Exploration
After breakfast, set out on a morning drive to the Kidepo Valley, a more arid and remote sector of the park with surreal landscapes and fewer visitors. The drive is an adventure in itself, with chances to spot ostriches, bat-eared foxes, and Kudu, along with stunning scenery dominated by Borassus palm trees and dry riverbeds.
Your destination is the Kanangorok Hot Springs, located near the South Sudanese border. Here, you can stretch your legs, enjoy a picnic breakfast or lunch, and marvel at this geological wonder nestled in the wild. Keep an eye out for migratory birds and desert-like species not found elsewhere in Uganda.
Return to the lodge by early afternoon. The rest of the day is yours to unwind or enjoy optional activities such as a guided nature walk around the lodge area or birdwatching with an expert guide. Day 4: Departure to Entebbe
